Services

Naturopathic Services at Bare Integrative Medicine are in-depth and comprehensive. During your initial visit with Dr. Detorres, a detailed review of your health history is completed. This includes a review of your medical history, a thorough physical examination, and discussing your diet and lifestyle. Reviewing and discussing your health history in great detail allows the team at Bare Integrative Medicine to partner with you in developing a personalized treatment plan.

At the time of your visit, and at future follow-up visits, Dr. Detorres will review progress on your treatment plan and discuss any laboratory tests, examinations or treatments that may be needed.

Our goal is to join you in your health care journey and become a critical member of your support team. The number, and frequency, of follow-up visits will depend on the nature of your visit. But we aim to develop a sustainable path toward better health as quickly as possible. Adding in our ancillary naturopathic services (microneedling, chemical peels, or nutrient therapies) to your primary care or regenerative medicine visits can help accelerate your journey to better health and wellness.

What We Treat At Bare Integrative Medicine

Primary Care

Evaluation and diagnosis of medical conditions using both natural and conventional medical approaches. Treating the full spectrum of health.

Thyroid Diseases

It’s believed that thyroid diseases impact approximately 20 million people in America. Many are unaware of their diagnosis and experience limited symptoms. Thyroid diseases include those where the thyroid produces too much hormone to those where the thyroid does not produce enough hormone.

Adrenal Dysfunction

The adrenal glands produce hormones that help control both your fight-or-flight response and your sex hormones. An over or under production of hormones in the adrenal gland can have a direct impact on your overall health and wellness.

Gut Health

In addition to traditional g.i. symptoms, your overall gut health may have symptoms that seem unrelated to the gut; such as skin irritation, food intolerances, immune dysfunction, anxiety and/or depression. Bare Integrative Medicine helps to treat reflux, GI infections, leaky gut, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), and more.

Autoimmune Conditions

An autoimmune condition is a disease where the body is unable to tell the difference between your own cells and foreign cells. This causes the body to mistake parts of itself as foreign and it begins to attack healthy cells. Bare Integrative Medicine helps to treat rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, and more.

 Chronic Fatigue and Insomnia

Decreased quality or inability to sleep is a common complaint for patients. Sleep is critical to building and sustaining overall health and wellness. Poor quality or a lack of sleep can impact even the smallest tasks and, make it difficult to get through the day. Things like mood and memory rely on sleep.

Skin Conditions

Rashes, infections and scarring can be very disruptive and hard to treat. In addition to medical care we offer aesthetic treatments to support patients in healing from acne scarring or eczema in addition to fighting the signs of aging. Bare Integrative Medicine provides medical aesthetic procedures such as microneedling, vampire facials, and chemical peels.

Joint and Muscle Pain

Regenerative medical techniques can be beneficial for patients struggling with joint and muscle pain, inflammation, or a limited range of motion. Bare Integrative Medicine provides regenerative medicine injections to support the body’s natural healing abilities using Prolotherapy or PRP.

Hormonal Imbalance

Hormones are responsible for regulating many key body functions including heart rate, sleep, body temperature, reproduction, mood, and more. Even the slightest hormone imbalance, high or low, can have a significant impact on your overall health.

Substance Abuse Recovery

Removing, or detoxing, from a harmful substance with medical support in a caring and judgement free environment. Addiction is a physical as well as mental process and is best treated with the help of an objective provider who can help minimize symtpoms and provide emotional support.

 Hair Restoration

Bare Integrative Medicine utilizes advanced PRP technologies to help stop hair fallout, stimulate natural growth, and help increase hair thickening. Ask about exosomes too!

Nutritional Deficiencies

Typically caused by poor diet, digestive conditions, or poor absorption –  nutritional deficiencies occur when the body does not have enough nutrients to function normally. Bare Integrative Medicine supports the identification of deficiencies and nutritional coaching to support recovery.
