Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
Yes! We are currently in network with the following insurance companies – Premera, Lifewise, Cigna, Healthnet & Providence. We will be in network with Regence in May of 2020.
If you are insured by a company not listed above we will bill your insurance company as an out-of-network provider and you will be reimburse whatever amount your insurance company approves. We cannot guarantee that you will recover all or any of the visit costs, it is up to you to verify your insurance benefits. Most patients are able to at least get partial reimbursement for medical visits.
Are anti-aging and aesthetic procedures covered by insurance?
Some anti-aging services may be reimburse by your insurance, it is up to you to verify your coverage. We are happy provide you with the codes your insurance company will need to determine this and will bill the service to your insurance company as an out of network provider to try and obtain partial or full reimbursement for you. We cannot guarantee how much, if any will be reimburse to you.
Esthetic procedures are rarely covered.
How long will my appointment be?
New patient visits are 60 minutes face to face with the doctor. This allows your doctor to get to know you and gather all of the necessary information to help you best. You must complete your new patient intake forms via the online patient portal at least 24 hours before your appointment to get the most out of this visit.
Follow ups are between 15-30 minutes depending on the reason for follow up. Ask about our telemedicine followups! Many visits can be completed via telemedicine including lab review, hormone check ins and more.
What is your cancellation policy?
In order to be accessible to our patients in a timely manner we require a 24 hour cancellation notice. If your appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or if you no show a $75 cancellation fee will be owed.
Do you offer same day or quick sick appointments?
Yes! We try to reserve a few spots each day for urgent (not emergent) patient visits. Please call the office if you are ill or have a minor injury that needs evaluated. We can suture, splint and order x-rays as needed as well as address most acute illness.
After hours and weekend visits are scheduled on a case by case basis. Please call the office to inquire about availability.
If your illness or injury is severe please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.
Does insurance cover Prolotherapy Injections?
No but they will cover your exam fee. Prolotherapy injections are $300 per joint and must be paid by the patient on the day of service.
ARE NUTRIENT IVs COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Rarely. Most nutrient IVs are not covered by insurance unless there is a codable reason for the IV that your insurance accepts, for example dehydration.
Nutrient IVs are $155 and patients must pay for the IV on the day they receive it.
